Knit-Fix™ Bandages

These bandages are suitable for the second layer when applying the three-layer bandaging technique

A medium weight knitted bandage designed specifically for multi-purpose uses, from lightweight protection to a support/compression or immobilisation bandage, such as a Robert Jones. Compared to any woven materials, the unique knitted structure provides a Veterinary bandage that is:

• Non-Slip, easily applied without twisting, conforming to any shape and holding position.
• Extremely strong and highly resistant to catching or tearing.
• Non-stringing with reduced risks of overtightening and affecting circulation.
• Fast edged and non-fraying without loose threads.

KNIT-FIX has the open knitted cellular structure for good ventilation with non-slip, non-fray qualities, whilst the selected materials have been used to evolve a multi-purpose performance fixing bandage of medium weight and optimum density. Lightly elastic with some sideways and up to 70% lengthways extensibility. Composition: Mixed Threads Single Viscose 79%, Textured Nylon 21% (approx). Weight: 0.074 kilo per m2 ± 5%.
