ARDEX A 35 is a cutting-edge floor screed designed to offer ultra-rapid drying capabilities for internal environments. Leveraging the innovative ‘RAPIDRY FORMULA’ Technology, ARDEX A 35 enables impressive early traffic and installation times. Once applied, the screed can be walked on in just 3 hours. Ceramic and natural stone tiles can be installed within 24 hours, regardless of the screed’s thickness, and resilient floorcoverings, such as carpet, vinyl, and wood, can also be laid after 24 hours. The screed’s exceptional performance is demonstrated by its ability to pass the BRE Screed (ISCR) Test within just 6 hours. Additionally, ARDEX A 35 reaches compressive and tensile bending strengths that surpass those of traditional cement screeds after just one day, compared to the typical 28 days required for standard screeds.

With a 1:5 mix ratio, the material requirement is about 0.31 kg per square meter per millimeter of thickness, which provides coverage of approximately 3.2 square meters at 25mm thickness or 5.4 square meters at 15mm thickness per bag. For slurry bonding applications, additional materials are needed: 2 x 25 kg bags of ARDEX A 35 cement and 3 x 5 kg of ARDEX P 51 bonding agent or 9 x 25 kg bags of ARDEX A 18 per 100 square meters.
